ABOUT DAVE LOCKMAN
Dave Lockman is an organic regulations and certification specialists with over 14 years experience in the organic certification industry and over 22 years of experience in the agri-food industry. He holds a master’s in business administration (MBA) in agri-food from Laval University and a bachelor of science in agriculture from the University of Guelph. Dave sits on the board of Organic Food Conferences Canada, a non-profit organization which manages the yearly Guelph Organic Conference. Dave also sits on various committees within the organic industry providing consultancy to other non-profit organizations. He is currently employed as an organic program coordinator at the Centre for Systems Integration (CSI), a CFIA accredited organic certification body. CSI is a Canadian non-profit organization whose mission is to provide cost-effective certification programs.
ABOUT DARIE LAVIGNE
Darie Lavigne has joined the Ecocert Canada team after her studies in food sciences in Université Laval with a focus on agronomy. After 15 years in the company, she is now managing the operations of the organic certification division. Since 2019, Darie has participate to the implementation of Ecocert Greenlife service and the COSMOS certification in Canada. COSMOS certification is the most recognize organic certification for cosmetics products worldwide.
ABOUT LORI WYMAN
Lori Wyman is the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) Representative for North America. GOTS is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria. She is also trained as an organic farm and processing inspector for the USDA/NOP in addition to GOTS. She has conducted organic and social compliance audits on farms and in factories internationally for organic food and textile supply chains from the farm level up through the finished product.
